Time To Get Back To Work
We can say that 2020 has definitely been an unpredictable year! It marked our company’s 10th anniversary, and at the beginning, we were off to a great start by securing more business than in 2019. All thanks to the hard work of our extraordinary team, clients, and partners.
The ‘forced break’ that current events placed on everyone’s work didn’t demotivate us from re-starting with more determination and passion than ever before. Our team is ready at the starting blocks and can’t wait to pick up from where we left in Q4 of 2020.
So, as we go back to ‘business as unusual’, we wanted to share with you a few things that we’re grateful for, and that helped our company see some positives even during these uncertain times.
A Great Start
Our year started with the ICE Gaming event at Excel London – a fantastic showcase of innovation and expertise, being the largest international B2B gaming exhibition in the world.
That event left us inspired and we looked forward to attending more, with the next one being the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, scheduled for the end of February. Unfortunately, on the 12th of February, we were notified of the MWC’s cancellation, the first one to be cancelled due to the upcoming pandemic.
We didn’t let that phase us and six days later, on the 18th of February, we took part in the world’s n.1 retail trade fair EuroShop in Dusseldorf. It was our first time attending this major show that focuses on the future of the retail and exhibition industry, and we enjoyed connecting with our peers. At the same time, we could already notice the early signs of the pandemic and many of our conversations during that period ended up being about this unusual event.
In early March, we worked hard at delivering three projects at the Djerba Airshow in Tunisia, our first time in Africa and latest delivery for us in 2020. This was only made possible with the help of our dependable partners at ESI Logistics and our stand builder Profi Plan, who didn’t shy away from this challenge and made things happen in the best way possible.
It was precisely during our time working in Tunisia that we began to receive news of more and more shows being postponed and canceled. That prompted us to immediately take increased protective measures upon our return to the office, which consequently led us to work from home and comply with the health recommendations of our local government as we entered lockdown.
Great Clients
Times like this were tough for everyone, including our clients. Each one of them demonstrated high resilience and adaptability as we faced every day with no certainty of what was to come next, and when business could resume as usual. Navigating strange times like these would have not been possible without a high level of trust that we secured over time through clear communication, overcoming all kinds of challenges, and successfully meeting expectations in every project we work on.
It’s only thanks to the trust, patience, and confidence that we built with our clients that we managed to come up with practical solutions to help them go through such extraordinary circumstances.
Great Team
At the same time, we couldn’t have delivered that type of support to our clients without our exceptional team that acted promptly in front of these unexpected new challenges. Our team had the difficult task of helping clients navigate an uncertain trade show calendar while assuring the operations side by keeping in contact with our partners and suppliers that were significantly affected by the recent events. Not only that, they also supported the internal initiatives to adjust our offering according to the current situation and never once lost the motivation to keep working hard at it.
Nobody could have prepared them for such a life-changing situation, and we are incredibly grateful for the unprecedented agility they demonstrated to bring all of the above tasks to completion.
Great Prospective
The world has changed, and as we write a new chapter at Easy Exhibit, we plan to help the B2B marketing community adjust and rethink as we go back to business under a ‘new normal’. For the past 10 years, we’ve assisted our clients beyond implementing their B2B marketing strategy through exhibitions, providing strategic insights on the global tradeshow programs. Recently, we also added to our arsenal polished frameworks to strategize at a brand and positioning level.
Covid gave us time to work on refining our processes and to create a whole new service to facilitate strategy sessions with marketing leadership in the form of packages. Before this pandemic, a significant part of the B2B marketing budgets were allocated to trade shows, now we are forced to change strategy and come up with an innovative solution to fill out the space left by the now absent trade shows. That’s what we plan to do, offering a way to finally gain clarity and start all over.
Stay tuned to learn more about our new service, launching on the 1st of September. Make sure that you subscribe this month to get early access to it and enjoy an exclusive offer.
