April was an exciting month for us. We had one of our most important projects so far and the stakes were very high. Our growth became noticeable and we wanted to take advantage of that to recruit the next generation of Easy Exhibit.
That is why our team gathered and invested time, efforts, enthusiasm and competencies to recruit new faces to represent our company and to help along during the upcoming exhibition. The process was in total of less than 10 days and it was an exciting new opportunity for us to try new things and to trust our instincts. The interviewing team was partialy experienced at hiring people but no matter if it was a new opportunity or a process that they are trying to improve it was a great way for us to buckle down and get into the spirit of choosing the best candidates. It was a challenge and we went off-road all the way. But it served us well.
We believe that this Baptism of fire, as our CEO Othmane Boumzebra would say, would be a great opportunity.
3 young people that had no knowledge of the exhibition industry, are just finishing their studies and are ready to learn, grow and experience, were hired.
Meet Ivo Trifonov, Deiana Gergova and Viktoria Ivanova.
They joined our team in a full 3-month internship program starting with a unique experience, supporting us on ILA Berlin. ILA Berlin is one of the biggest exhibitions for aerospace and defence industries and for our client GIFAS – The French Aerospace Industries Association – we had to deliver over the top.
During the show the interns had the chance not only to get to know the environment but also to do some prospection, observe the build-up process, talk to potential clients, connect with suppliers and get a clearer view on what we do, how we do it and how can we do it better.
As Deiana explored the world of exhibitions she came up with a new abbreviation: “For me ILA was: I – Inspiration, L – Lesson, A – Adventure”. Viktoria shares : “At ILA I felt like I was Alice in Wonderland. Everything was something new, something shiny, something curious. I wanted to see it, to touch it, to explore it.” And Ivo`s favorite part : “What I most enjoyed was speaking to people from different cultures and to see how they think and how serious they take their business and their job.”
There is a saying nowadays that exhibitions are not fashionable. According to our interns that is not the case. We notice bright minds that can evolve in the company, in the industry and can definitely make a difference. And their eagerness to learn, to develop, to grow is our reason to hire them.
During the internship Deiana will be working with Martina Shalapatova and Toufic Hawly on real cases and projects. Ivo will be working with Rahim Kadir and Plamen Todorov on delivering excellence to our clients and partners. And Viktoria will be working with Teodora Hristova in our Marketing department.
We are excited to welcome them in our team and we wish them all the best! Our fast-paced environment requires a breath of fresh air once in a while and by integrating new people in the company we grow, we expand and we fly.
