WHERE DID WE GO ?
We had a show, yes, exhibitions in July exist! This year we have projects being deliverеd all year long. Amsterdam is on the map this month for a long-time client in the gaming industry at iGB Live run by the industry’s leading content provider, iGaming Business.

SUMMER WORKSHOPS
Once a year, during the summer, we review all aspects of our operations. Just like taking the car for maintenance every 30.000 km, we run a diagnosis to understand genuinely how we performed, as well as finding creative approaches to re-imagine how we could create more delightful experiences for our customers.
We love our office, but this time we do it outside of our work environment to change our perspective and step back from the steering wheel. In Sofia, we are lucky to have a huge startup community in our surroundings, offering great meeting rooms with stunning light and views.
We’ve been continuously improving over the last 3 years, this time we’ve focused our workshops on bringing our awareness to how we could do it more intentionally and systematically than before. We are slowly introducing effective working methods for continuous improvement of our operational excellence for an outstanding customer experience.
Among the topics to be covered during the summer: service design, situational awareness, robustness inspired by the aerospace industry best practices, improvement kata, health & safety, agility, alignment, and coherence between our marketing, sales, and operations.
BOOK OF THE MONTH

From this month on, we’ll share with you our most inspiring books. We have a culture of reading, it’s not uncommon for us to have conversations, debates and even using books as a reference in specific work situations
Most people working in a highly operational environment like trade shows would say, “Nothing can replace experience, experience is everything !”. That’s only partly true. We strongly believe the highest level of performance is achieved through coaching, followed by experience. Reading comes last as it clearly takes a couple of years reading at least 2 books per month to start to benefit from a compound effect, and it’s worth it!
Four main reasons why reading is critical in our company culture :
- It develops a shared vocabulary among us
- It can save us years of being stuck where others have solved issues we are facing now
- It increases our humility, as more we read more we realize how little we know
- It provides stories and models that support a better understanding of life and work situations
Let’s jump in, the book of this month is … “Principle” by Ray Dalio
Seriously, most of us had no clue of who Ray Dalio was before reading his book. You realize not only he is a multi-billionaire investor and the hedge fund boss of Bridgewater, he actually anticipated and side-stepped the 2008 financial crisis.
His concept and application of “Radical Transparency” is startling, as he explains it in details in the book.
Powerful insights from 40+ years of proven business practices, helpful for anyone desiring to gain a new perspective of what life and work could be.
